the scenario is; you lot have purchased a 1st gen tacoma with somewhere betwixt 90k and 150k 3.4L v6 and y'all desire to make sure that you can requite it a compete tune up that volition bring the performance of the vehicle from okay to Great and lets endeavor to go along it under 500$ ( Lets presume timing belt and water pump have already been replaced )

My Tune up would become equally follows

    air filter
    Spark Plugs and wires
ringlet packs ( sort of optional; pricy )

  2. Wires? Coil packs? That's not a tune upwardly, that's a major redo. Only you do have a truck that's almost twenty years old..............

Add audit and replace dried and croaky vacuum lines. I had quite a few on my '02 that were and then loose they came off with minimal effort. Smoothed out my idle for certain when I popped some new silicone lines on.

A little more than info on the Turkey Baster PS fluid method. Sounds pretty straight forward, only does just replacing the fluid in the reservoir have an result on the fluid that remains in the PS lines?

On average, yeah, as a total no. If you desire to supersede all the fluid, without doing multiples to become it all you lot'll demand to bleed and replace it all.

If you suck out and refill the PS reservoir a few times, enough to utilise upward nigh an entire quart, yous will accept roughly 60-75% fresh fluid.
